Since 2004, Pizzazz has been performing professionally at weddings at venues around the Cape Peninsula, i.e. the Rhodes Memorial, Zorgvliet, Langverwagt, Zevenwagt, Stellenrust, The Aquarium, just to name a fiew. In addition to weddings, Pizzazz has played at birthday functions, one of which was Trevor Manuel’s 50th and Corporate functions, i.e. Golden Arrow’s function in 2005 and the International Air Show in 2006.

All four members are highly experienced musicians, and although still students, have been exposed to the professional music world in various different capacities. Whether it be playing as a soloist with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, or travelling overseas as members of the National Youth Orchestra, this group combined brings together a wealth of talent and experience which they wish to use to bring joy and pleasure to the guests to whom they perform.

Repertoire 

Over the years, Pizzazz has built up a large repertoire. We offer a range of classic traditional works by Mozart, Bach, Pleyel, Boccherini etc - perfect to add a touch of class and sophistication to any occasion.

If this is not your style Pizzazz have more modern selection of music including well known works like Moon River, Scarborough Fair, themes by Scott Joplin as well as breathtaking tango’s to bring some zest to your function.

Please note that written confirmation and a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total cost is required in order to secure the time and date of the performance. The balance of the total cost needs to be deposited at least 24 hours before the date of the event (unless you choose to pay cash).

Please keep in mind we need 4 chairs - without armrests. In case of the event being outdoors, we need shade and adequate shelter to ensure your background music is not interrupted. In the evening, we need appropriate light to be able to see our music, just warn us in case we need to bring some lights with.
