This award winning pianist received distinction in both his ATCL international and B Mus Honours recital programmes. Lester started playing the piano when entering High School and has since won various prizes and awards (inlcuding Best Pianist  Award in 2000 handed to him by then Minister of Education, Helen Zille).

Lester has taught and lectured piano at Secondary, as well as Tertiary education levels. He plays at weddings since his High School years and has performed at various prestigious events i.e. the Shoprite Women of the Year Awards in 2005.

Currently Lester is completeing his Masters degree in piano performance at UCT and is very active as a session musician in studios with both classical and jazz ensembles. He also does song writing and producing with upcoming singers in South Africa.

His playing styles include Classical, Jazz, Praise and Worship, Latin, Free style improvisation, R&B and many more.

The setup

Roland Digital piano (RD 300sx) - Full concert grand piano sound. Mixer and speakers for amplification. Can provide one man band style of playing (includes bass and drums).

Please ensure there is an electricity point nearby.

Booking Info

Weddings:

  • Church service: R600
  • Reception: R800 for 1st hour (R300 p/h after that)

Corporates: R1500 for 1st hour (R500 p/h after that)
Other events: R600 for 1st hour (R300 p/h after that)
