Duos are ideal for smaller events, weddings, a special occasion or dinner party in a smaller venue. The flute and violin has a softer tembre, where the violin and viola or cello duo has a lovely vibrant sound.
Repertoire
The Music Boutique Duos play mainly classical works. Most of our repertoire consists of music by Telemann, Haydn, Mozart and Pleyel that are light and easy to listen to. More well known classics complete the set of about 2-3 hours.

For weddings we can play the Wedding March(es) and accompany hymns. Various pieces as mentioned above can be used during the ceremony as well - especially when the rings are exchanged, while the register is signed or as recessional music.
Special requests: Want us to play something specific or a special song? Please mention it in your enquiry and we will do our best to do play it on the day. Should it not be possible musically we will tell you and offer our advice as to what will be possible. Please communicate special requests to us as soon as possible and no later than 2 weeks before the event.
Booking Info
Standard rate: R700* per hour. *Travel fee to be added to cover petrol expenses. No deposit required, but cash on the day or payment into account a week before the event. You will receive a formal quote before we confirm the booking.
Our instruments will always be our first concern. In the case of the event being outdoors, we need shade and adequate shelter. Please arrange for two chairs (without armrests).
Our usual dress code is all black or black and white. Let us know the colours or theme of your party or wedding and we'll add a bit of colour too!
